MSc in Cyber Security Secarma Challenge
About the Competition
Security Lancaster has partnered with Secarma in order to create a competition for the students enroled on the MSc In Cyber Security. Working in conjunction Secarma and the module tutors delivering the Information System Security Management course, the first in the masters study programme, set a series of coursework questions that are based on real world challenges that are faced by Secarma and its clients.
Three students scoring the highest marks will be awarded customised Raspberry PI devices and have the opportunity to present their work back to senior employees of Secarma.
Starting off as an internal division of UKFast, a premium internet hosting company, Secarma has grown out of incubation to become a stand-alone private company. Combining security and karma, Secarma's ethos is built on assuring safety from an event that will inevitably happen in the future. We believe that in-house security of your critical networks and data are key to your success; offering you competitive advantages by giving your clients an added level of security that can help fulfil their compliance requirements.
